The sun is blazing hot today

A firey summer sun

The overheated temperatures can trigger exhaustion, sunburn, insect bites, heart and breathing problems due to the heart overworking to cope with the extreme weather. It is advisable for elderly people to keep near shades when it’s this hot, shut the windows and pull down the shades, then open the windows for ventilation when it gets cooler. You can also keep your rooms cooler by using shades and light coloured curtains. Splash yourselves with cool wateter, drink plenty of liquid, avoid alcohol for the time being and keep medication near if you’re vulnerable to heat and might need medicine. Wear loose cool clothing a hat and don’t forget your sunscreen and glasses when you go outdoors.

In the meanwhile enjoy these lovely flowers I saw in the garden yesterday.
