A renewed campaign to highlight hundreds of missing African-American women has been launched amid ongoing criticism that less attention is given to their cases by authorities and the media.

According to the National Crime Information Center, nearly 40 per cent of those who have disappeared, often in suspicious circumstances, are black. However critics allege that public attention mainly focuses on white women who have vanished.

  1. As a black woman living in the UK I have evaded being kidnapped several times,all of which was subtle. If I was not sharp thinking and know when to run,I would be a missing black woman from the UK.

  2. For so many to be missing a lot of black men and black people that they trust could be involve. Black women are the most stubborn of races when it comes on to dating outside their race. They often get backlash for it,so that’s why I think that other black people that they trusted might be involve with a stalking and kidnapping ring of people from varying backgrounds.

  3. Anywhere abuse and trafficking you will find a lot of men,unfortunate ately a lot of black men too,yes the same black men that are always crying and marching about oppression,sadly they take part in these things. Some of them are child-like,if people tell them to hurt women they will do it.

  4. And at the same time a lot of black women were on YouTube saying that they are overwhelmed and over flood by men of a different race asking them out,every time they leave their houses.
