SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) – GoPro announced Monday a new line of cameras for thrill seekers, vacationers and families.
The California-based company unveiled three models of the HERO cameras which range from a new entry-level model to more advanced cameras with a variety of settings and options.
“For the past twelve years, our passion has been to make it easy for people to self-capture jaw dropping, professional quality footage of themselves engaged in their favorite activities,” said GoPro Founder and CEO, Nicholas Woodman, said in a release.
GoPro cameras have become popular among professionals and amateurs photographers who have used by firefighters, surfers and even wildlife shelters to capture unique point-of-view videos.
The new phones include:
- The HERO4 Black for $499 which shoots cinema-quality 4K video at 30 frames per second (fps), 2.7K video at 50fps and 1080p video at 120fps, which allows for slow motion effects. Other features…
