SHE WAS diagnosed with colon cancer back in July 2013, and just over a year later Lynda Bellingham has revealed enough is enough.
The actress, 66, who shot to fame in 1983 in the Oxo TV adverts, has revealed she has decided to stop her chemotherapy in November and is likely to die in January.
The news comes as the star’s memoirs have been serialised in the Daily Mail, in which she explains to readers the process behind her decision in an honest and admirable stance.
Linda writes: “I am on such strong chemo now that my body is finally protesting.
“I decided when I will die. I am very dramatic, aren’t I?”
The actress added: “I would love to make one more Christmas, if possible, but I want to stop taking chemo around November in order to pass away by the end of January.
