Usher has spoke out in support of Justin Bieber at the premier for the teen heartthrob’s new docu-film, Believe.
“I mean, more money more problems,” the R&B singer told the Associated Press.
Usher was one of the first people who spotted a young Biebs’ honing his craft on YouTube, before quickly signing him to his label and turning him into the global superstar he is today.
He said of Justin’s new film: “The beautiful part about it is that those that are invested in a long term story you understand that there are peaks and valleys in every person’s life.“
“Unfortunately, the reality is he has to live with a camera in front of him, but what he chooses to do on or off camera is analyzed or scrutinized in some off way.”
Usher also appears in the documentary, where he is interviewed about his young protégé. “The trials of being a teenager, period, is tumultuous,” he explains in the film. “But you can’t have a normal life if you’re a superstar.”
