A hearty congratulations: Kerry delivered a rousing speech to graduates after the national anthem

The Scandal star looked as proud as punch as she delivered an inspiring address to students upon receipt of her gong.
Raring to go: The Scandal star looked excited as she got readyto address the crowd below
The Ray star then cackled as she explained that, of all the roles she has played as an actress, it was still her father’s favorite.
Kerry has come a long way from her days playing frogs on stage, and in 2009 was appointed to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, and even delivered a speech at the Democratic National Convention last year.
And she told her fellow graduates they should carve their own unique paths and follow their dreams.
She said: ‘Your life is your story and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfill your own purpose and potential.’
Walking on air: She was understandably in a happy mood after being made a doctor of fine arts
